Open Rehearsal

Butlins

Middleton Band would like to welcome you to their upcoming open rehearsal of the Butlins test piece, The Frogs (of Aristophanes) By Granville Bantock . The rehearsal will take place on Wednesday 18th January at 7.30pm at  St Anne’s Academy, Hollin Lane, Middleton, M24 6XN. A map can be found here.

170 Years Service Awarded!

Peter Bates, Chairman of the NWABBA attended a ‘Last Night of the Prom’ event given by the Middleton Band at the Parish Church Milnrow.  The concert was also attended by the Mayor and Mayoress of Rochdale. East Lancashire Railway 1940′s Wartime Weekend

Middleton Band have been very busy this weekend supporting the East Lancashire Railway’s 1940′s ‘Wartime’ weekend. Rochdale Mayor Making Ceremony May 2011

The band were invited to play as Councillor Alan Godson was sworn in as the new Mayor of Rochdale at the Mayor Making Ceremony at Rochdale Town Hall this evening. Former Mayor and Mayoresses, MPs, Councillors and invited guests watched as last year’s Mayor Zulfiqar Ali handed over the chains of office to Councillor Godson.
