The youth band have once more taken a trip back in time to 1940, where they have entertained the crowds of visitors to the SVR 1940’s event.

What a glorious day to have a concert in the picturesque Jubilee Park! The band played a varied programme including a solo, The Lazy Trumpeter’ by principal cornet Adam Albinson.
Today we sponsored Middleton CC vs Milnrow and the pre match entertainment was provided by our youth band. It was a great event as usual and the youth band play well. Below are some pictures from the event. You can find more information here at http://www.middletoncc.co.uk/
We ordered glorious weather just for the occasion! The youth band once again took part in the East Lancashire Railway 1940’s event at Bury Transport Museum. This year, with the day being so sunny, the band set up outside the museum and entertained visitors to the 1940’s event.
What a fantastic evening we had playing Mephistopheles at Tameside Whit Friday contests. As we wait for the results to come in, here is a video and some photos of the night!
We will be holding a Band Quiz at St. Thomas Mores Church Hall on Saturday 22nd June, and would like to extend an invitation to you to enter a team (or two!!) of up to six people into the quiz.
