Gearing up for Christmas!
The band have begun their festive season recently, playing carols as part of the Middleton Lights turn on festivities. The band played two sets of Carols amidst entertainment from various other local dance and vocal groups.

Jubilee Park July 2013
The band once again entertained local Middleton folk from the serene setting of the bandstand in picturesque Jubilee park. The weather was pleasant and the reception from the audience warm and welcoming.

Middleton Band have enjoyed a ramble around Middleton today in aid of raising funds towards our trip to the National Finals in September.The walk began at 11am at the Old Boars head before heading off towards Tandle Hills then back again.
Youth Band At SVR 1940’s event, 2013
The youth band have once more taken a trip back in time to 1940, where they have entertained the crowds of visitors to the SVR 1940’s event.

What a glorious day to have a concert in the picturesque Jubilee Park! The band played a varied programme including a solo, The Lazy Trumpeter’ by principal cornet Adam Albinson.
Youth Band at ELR 1940’s event: Bury Transport Museum
We ordered glorious weather just for the occasion! The youth band once again took part in the East Lancashire Railway 1940’s event at Bury Transport Museum. This year, with the day being so sunny, the band set up outside the museum and entertained visitors to the 1940’s event.
