Archer Brass

Archer Brass is a community brass band for people aged 7 upwards from Middleton and the surrounding areas. We offer everything a young or indeed older person needs to learn to play a brass instrument in a fun and safe environment.

We are recruiting an inspirational brass tutor to join our team! We are looking for someone who has the skills and experience to run a new beginner group for new starters on all instruments and of mixed ages. Further opportunities can also be available for smaller group teaching of existing band members too.

We welcome complete beginners of any age to come to learn to play with us.

We provide tuition and can provide free instrument loans too.

We are accepting expressions of interest for our next cohort of new beginners aged 7 upwards. Adults too! It's never too late to learn a new skill!

Archer Brass

Archer Brass (formerly Middleton Youth Band) is a non contesting community band.

We welcome players of any age who have been learning for a couple of years right through to more advanced players.
Lapsed players looking to take up brass again are also very welcome.

We can provide free instrumental loans and small group tuition too.

Session Times

All sessions take place on a Monday Evening 

Beginners 6.00-6.30 pm
Archer Brass 6.30- 7.30 pm
