Beginners
We welcome beginners at Middleton and offer lessons and instruments to absolute beginners aged approx. 7 upwards, free of charge!
The beginners team offer lessons on Monday evenings between 6.00pm and 6.30pm. Beginners are taught the basics required to be able to read music and play their chosen instrument properly. When beginners can read and play approximately 4/5 notes fluently they can then progress into the training band.
Training Band
The training band welcomes any beginner brass player who has had a few lessons from the age of 7 upwards.
The training band rehearses on a Monday evening from 6.30 pm – 7.30pm.
